Thinking on doing it myself
Have a 83 F350 have manuale front hubs that need changed Every one I have talked to says it is very simple but I am not so sure. Been reading different threads on here all deal with automatic to manual not manual to manuaul. I guess my question is is what am I getting myself into. I know for sure I can put the truck on jack stands ok. LOL But basicaly in the dark from there.

Just do what you're doing... read as much about as you can. Find all the write-ups and stuff, and print 'em out to have with you during the swap. Then just dive in and do it. If you screw it up, it might be a good idea to have a place in mind that'll do the swap for you should something go wrong.
