2001 f150 shift problem
I have a 2001 F-150 5.4 which has just made 100,000 miles. I have started to notice when traveling at 55-60 mph I get a slight and brief rumble. ( It sounds as if I am driving a rumble strip on the highway). This is brief and only lasts about a half a second. when it occurs the rpms go up and then back down. It seems to happen more so when I am going on an upgrade. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was the correction. Was it the rear end, trans.? Any help out there would be appreciated.
