Looking at adding a gauge set up on the 77 F150. I'm thinking tach, trans temp, engine temp. I know what I don't want - big tach hanging off the column, or to mount anything down low under the dash, but I haven't seen anything I can really get excited about.
Does anyone know of a nice and clean setup to mount on the A post or in that area on the dash. Something like what's available for a current A post cluster, that doesn't look out of place.
An "A" pillar gauge pod would be cool. You might look at Dakota Digital's website for an integrated tach though. It's pricy, but the gauge cluster is waaaaaaay cool. 1973- 79 Ford Pickup Instrument System
I've wanted one of those for a long time. Expensive! Plus, it would look out of place in my truck, and I would be forced to restore the entire truck to match my awesome guages.
