my new project is a 1952 F-1. all original, this is the first year of the over head cam motors I think. The truck was restored in 89 including a body off frame sanding and painting, rebuilt motor, clutch and trans. it was in a few car shows here in Mississippi. Its been sitting in a field for about 10 years now so it does have a little work be done on it. but after finding a 6volt battery the motor turned over no problem and the clutch and tans seem to be working well. hopefully after my carb kit comes in and i get the new fuel pump in place and some new tires and brake work Ill be making a few laps around the block. I did buy the shop manuals for it but Im sure Its no replacement for some old timers who have had there hands on this model. Iv been on the Lighting forum for a little bit and it has been really helpful. i would post pics but i guess i cant since im not a paid member yet. if you go to this link maybe you can see.
