Rust remover.

Mix 60% vinegar with 40% water and leave it for a couple of days, it`ll take off rust along with paint.

I thought that was only good for window cleaner. That may come in handy I will have to try it out sometime.

It`s supposed to work good inside engine blocks as well.

Yup - it's the most basic rust, lime and calcium remover. Works very good in radiators too. Likely the makeup of "CLR".

I have used vinegar lots for removing hard water stains and such but never for rust remover.
