silicone grease
I read on some earlier posts to put some silicone grease on the wiring connections such as the connection to the tps, temp sensors ect. Is this really a good idea? I live on the Oregon coast and it gets a bit wet this time of year so I am just looking for some good preventive maintance and I don't want to cause problems by putting something where it doesn't belong.

Great stuff. I use it on all my electical connectors. Clean the connector and remove all corrison, dry and than lightly coat the male part of the teminal, than connect. It will help and Ford uses it on their conections. I use it onmy 93 Aerostar, 92 F150, 89 Bronco II, 74 Ford Maverick & some antiques.
