Those are good orings. Alliant Power is good OEM product. I can't really answer the building injectors question. Although i have heard they are not hard if you are patient, take your time and have a clean workspace. Jim at Rosewood sells his kits with a DVD that shows you how to do it and i'm assuming the first 2 or 3 might take you a while but once you get the hang of it, the rest should go fairly quick.
send DZL JIM a PM. I rebuilt my own. He's got a great DIY kit with real good instructions. You just need to take your time. There are some close tolerances that can be measured with feeler gages. Totally doable. Good prices. You can upgrade them while you are at it too.
Jim is a great guy. Getting my DIY Stage I kit in the mail monday!
Get a DIY kit if your injectors have relatively low miles (less than 200k) or send yours in and have him do a stock rebuild or Stage I's for $500 (plus the cost of broken parts that he needs to replace)
thanks guys.this thing is acting up agian.it will smoke and miss and then sometimes it will clear up and not smoke. thinking orings from what i've read on here.its got 270,000 on it and i don't know if they have ever been replaced but i only gave $1300 for it so i've got room to fix what it needs.i'll try and get ahold of him this week
