Job 2 is not likely to happen until late this year or very early next year...

That is what I was figuring but I was hoping sooner rather than later. Today I went to a dearlership and test drove a fully loaded lariat and I for one am VERY impressed with this new truck. after a 22 mile test drive I want to order mine a little early but he told me that with the volcano eruption it put incoming parts behind and therefore production behind. I was told that if I ordered now it would be early september before I would get it. I am now going through the order guide to just go ahead and order it.

Timing a delivery is still like a crapshoot at this point. It could go either way. Last numbers I saw from a couple of weeks ago still had lead times at 12-14 weeks, but over the past week or so the numbers appear to be trending lower. Some recent orders look as if they might even make it in a 8-10 week timeframe...

Nice... wish I had gone that route instead of my 450. You're getting the best of both worlds - almost same tow rating with 3.73's!
