high idle
I have a 2003 Lincoln Aviator with a 4.6 engine and when I start it up when it is cold the engine's rpm go very high. When the engine is warm it starts up normally and I was wondering if there is something wrong. The iac valve has been replaced and the truck has some vibration when I sit at a red light.

How high is "very high"? It is normal for it to idle faster on a cold start.
If you have a vacuum leak or misfire though the PCM may command the IAC to increase the idle even further to prevent a stall.
