Auto 4X4 Wiring
Does anyone know for a 2002 XLT which of the wires that go into the 4wd control module are the power wires(hots). I am looking to disable the auto 4wd by installing a switch that cuts power to the module. This way I do not have to disconnect the 2 plugs coming/going from the module, when I want to turn on/off auto 4wd since its not an option on this year. I installed slightly larger tires and the auto 4wd malfunctions. I was told by ford that unplugging is fine to do. Thanks for any help/ideas.
