I havew a 1995 SCab w/ 460efi... I guage is pegging out to high, but the garage says my pressure is ok, its the sensor, and to replace it... Where is it? Anyone have a engine diagram?
Sounds like a problem withe cluster.
On a 1995 you have an oil pressure switch and not a sender.
When the switch is open the gauge reads low and when the switch is closed it reads mid-scale.
I other words the wire to the switch is either grounded or open so it can not be the switch.
Has someone by passed the oil resister on the back of the cluster?
If so that may do it.
