I have read all the posts here and you guys have me convinced to go with AS leveling kits, but.....I cant decide if I should go with a 1 1/2" or a 2" kit. I have a 2010 F150 Screw FX4.
I want to put my BFG 305/65/18s on but I think I will need the front lift even tough they cleared on my 08 fine. The 2010 looks lower or has less clearance than my 08.
Any thoughts?
I think either the 1.5 or the 2" will clear those tires. It's more a matter of how you want your truck to sit. A lot og guys complain the AS 2" kit leaves the truck sitting a little "nose up". I have the 2" and I like the way it sits. If perfectly level is what you want, the 1.5 is more up your alley.
I put the 1.5 inch AS leveling kit in my 2004, and I wish I had gone with the 2 inch. However when I installed it I also put 3 inch blocks in the rear.
Thanks for the response. I think ill go with the 2" if it sits too high I can always add some more weight to the front like a supercharger and a push bar.
It does appear to be nose high btu you can't beat the look of a leveled truck!
Looks good Stephen. All you need is some bigger tires! It's interesting to find out the new F150 has such a slight rake. On the Tundras it's taking 2.5+ to get it fully leveled.

I'm planning on going about 33" eventually. I need to wear these suckers out first. I can't justify replacing perfectly good tires.
Man for a 33 you can't beat the look of a BFG AT T/A KO 305/65/18!
Best looking tire in that size IMO.
Best go see what that LSD can do

I've had the BFG's before and the wet traction sucked. It rains a lot in WA, so that is a big concern. I am leaning toward the Firestone Destination AT's if I can get them that big. I have the MT's on my 2000 and have been highly impressed. BTW- I have an FX4 so no LSD here... Lock it up baby!

I have the Destination AT's in 285/70/17 on my '06 and I love them so far. Excellent traction in the snow as well as wet traction although I've only had them for about 7k miles. They seem to be wearing well also.
