Found my unmolested Ex.... finally!

Hey fellow EX nuts. I had a new 2003 EX Limited a while back and when I traded it in I've been sick ever since. Well now I'm back in business and VERY excited. Just bought a 2005 Limited 6.0 PSD 4x4, 52,000 miles, and for the most part she looks unmolested.
Looking to do a remote start/alarm. Any advice?

Sweet looking ride. Like the rims.

No advice to give on the remote start, I've never had the pleasure.
My wife taught our oldest daughter how to start her van, it's a lot cheaper.

Really nice X!! The rims do look good, classy. Is that a Gasser? I'm sure you're glad to be back and know that its molesting time. First mod...get rid of the crossbars on top. Welcome back.

I would recommend nearly ANY alarm in the DEI family: Python, Viper, Clifford. I personally like the Viper Smartstart System for an expensive toy(start car with blackberry or iphone from ANYwhere!). A great alarm fr the money is the Viper 5901 which is $250 uninstalled on Ebay. Look to pay around $450 installed for this one locally.

I am about to buy the Autopage C3 RS-1100 as it also can start and monitor truck functions from your smartphone, but does a lot more! It also has an OLED remote tha looks like a mini TV that can control the alarm from a mile away if you dont want to add the smartphone module. This alarm is around $300 uninstalled on Ebay. Look to pay around $500 for this one installed locally.

It is an expensive thing if you go with these top of the line versions, but I like the 2 way alarms. Those are the ones that monitor your car and alert your remote when someone tampers with your truck. Whats the point of a siren if youre not there to hear it go off? You can also start your car from cray far distances and KNOW that it started and is cooling off or heating up our truck.

Have fun!

BTW your truck looks AWESOME! Congrats!

Tint the front windows and black out the accent stripe.

The Black Limited and the Red EB are the 2 nicest colors in my book.

Definately a diamond in the rough.

Looks like mine except for the wheels, running boards and the 6.0.

Thanks for all the compliments and ideas! After I find a good alarm/remote start/turbo timers I want to look for a good head unit replacement with bluetooth and ipod.
