Sold the 1995 E350 Club Chateau 7.5 litre after 270,000kms and 15 years. Bought a 2003 Excursion V-10, Eddie Bauer. I figure gas mileage should be about the same, but I'm, a little dissapointed with the interior space, especially behind the 3rd row bench. The van had a lot more room? And the excursion has got to be a couple feet longer. I know, apples oranges camparison, but I do like way the excursion drives compared to the E350.
I need something that tows, and can carry people in comfort, and the excursion seemed like a bargain. This forum seems like a good place to hang out. I'll keep you informed.

You haven't even gotten your feet yet, just hang out for awhile and you'll start posting pictures of your X and say dang this place is expensive.

Remember that the van has very little hood. The engine protrudes into the passenger compartment. Not so with the Ex. That is where you loose the interior space.

Aw, we look at it as saving money in order to spend more on (necessary for fuel savings) improvements to the truck
