Cam Timing question
As I understand it the newer EFI engines have retarded cam timing as opposed to "Straight up" timing that was used on the earlier (Carbed) engines. Does FORD accomplish this with a different cam or a different gear set??
Do all of the 300's (Carb. vs. EFI) use the same (Stock) part number cam??
Do all of the 300's (Carb. .EFI) use the same (Stock) Part number gear set??

Cam Timing question
All 300-6 engines from the late 70's to 87 had retarded cam gears. The EFI engines, according to the info I have, have a straight-up gear. Also, I think the EFI cams had a longer duration. Not sure about that, though.
