customizing a 69

i have a 69 f100 ranger and i want to customize the whole truck, with stuff like chrome dash and drop the truck down. basicly all it will be is a show truck. does anybody know of a magazine that will have custom parts for this truck.

There is a Classic Truck magazine. But they seem mostly concerned with older trucks, 30s-50s. There is some mention of the 60s and 70s. But you could get some ideas there.

I buy a lot of magazines, I mean a lot, R & C, Street Rodder, Popular Hot Rodding, Classic Trucks, Custom Classic Trucks, Truckin', Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords (oh how I miss Super Fords), American Rodder, the list goes on and on. But I am Sick!!!
Really a sad case. You could get by with 1/3 of these since almost all the advertisers cross over to a degree. But it's all about your ideas and picking a little of this and a little of that, etc. Enjoy.

By the way-if we can ever update Gallery's again -I have some new Pictures of the CACWBY actually out of the shop-I've even driven it a block or two and spun the ol taaaares! Yippeee Yahoo!

Thanks for quoting Joe Ely on that one! I'm from Austin, and have seen him several times. I'm a big Joe fan.

I believe Robert Earl Keen actually recorded it first, but I like Joe's rendition.

Another good mag is mustangs and fords, it seems to have lots of good articles on customizing almost anything with a blue oval.

went to the book store today andd got all of the magazines i could find that had anything about old ford trucks in it. i think i could get some ideas from them.
