Thanks for the replies, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm installing new Beru glow plugs, the factory version of the .50 cent mod and re-torquing the injector hold bolts and the rocker cradle bolts.
The problem I was having was getting the glow plug wire plugs to plug back onto the glow plugs, I thought initially that they had to go all the way down to the hex and found them to be loose when just putting them on over just the top stub, turns out after pulling the other valve cover that that is all the farther that they can go,(the upper stub) I just had to adjust the inner copper connector inside the plug so that it had enough tension to hold and to make a good connection like as mentioned earlier a spark plug wire on a Gasser.
Again Thanks, I figured it out and all looks good.

When I was a young lad I would have done something real stupid and would now have nice new UVCH harnesses
Everything is back together as far I'm willing to go tonight, will finish in the morning, the wife and I are leaving next Saturday for 7 days in South Carolina/Georgia with the travel trailer and I wanted to get this done before we went, glad I did as the UVCH plug on the passenger side was almost out of it's socket. The only thing left is the usual small anti-freeze leak at the thermostat housing, seems to start seeping about every year and a half, not a good design in my opinion, got the o-ring and will finish in the morning.
Thanks again.
