Abigsby ---- my truck sounded like a cat under the hood yeowling last night when I started it up --- then there was a loud !!thump!! and the yowling went away......truck makes strange sounds sometimes for sure.....
Beartacks - yup, I reckin one of the neighbors' cats has got a clean-as-a-whistle stripe down it's back right now and is hiding in some tree....
I usually find acorns on the intake manifold where skwirells will climb up in there and keep warm. As long as they dont try and climb into my 770 Avenger I'm alright.......I wonder how skwirell feathers would look being spit out the exhaust pipe....
All,
I've got a real problem with squirrels in Gville, Fl. They not only get into my trucks. They get into my attic and my bird feeder.
That's why I kill all of them that I can.
I felt guilty at first, but now I'm over it.
Now if I could just do something about the voices!

I know what you are saying, I do. My mom's house on Lake Allatoona burned down a few years ago because of a skwirrel --- the fire department found the A-hole fried between the wire and board when the went through the home after the fire...!!
They are also in the attic in my shop in Rome......I wish I could git rid of them --- as you know they are very dangerous!!
All,
One time I had about three kitten, I think, get up in the engine compartment. I never heard a thing but I saw the fur coming out. I got all of them. That wasn't the worst. They started to cook up in there and I could barely get them off with a pressure cleaner. The stink was unbearable. It wasn't very good for them either.

I wonder if that is why I bang on the hood all the time b4 I get in and start my truck...
If I suspect that a cat may be up in there I blow the horn too.
They will make a real mess if they get in the belts or fan. I have seen more than one radiator taken out by a fan blade that had fur on it.
I have lots of squirrels around but I keep my attic sealed up good and I don't have any problems with them. -Except for the occasional one that sits on top of the power transformer...
All,
I bought a pellet gun with a scope and when i see them in the bird feeder, I just snipe'em away. I got three, this morning, before work. That's a major haul for me. Friday is a good day to do it because the garbage is going out and i don't have to smell them for the rest of the week.
