Got a few Questions

First off i know ive asked this before but my door locks do not work when you press the button they try to work but will not lock or unlock fully. Do i need new acuators or is something else wrong? Its on all 4 doors not just one. And also if i unhook my waste gate can building 30psi of boost push it open? What is the best way to pressure test an intercooler system. This is on a 2000 f350

BTW, when I did mine over a year ago, I secured the actuator with zip ties, and also did the foil wrap.

Just one. The guy in the thread went as far as cutting a piece of metal to fit, but I don't think it's necessary.

Hahaha! That's awesome. I'm glad you said that 'cause I used a piece of chewing gum wrapper on mine. I wasn't going to admit it at first. That's great.

If it's the clips I'm thinking of, I used a set of long needle nose pliers to squeeze the tabs inward, then pulled on the rod to slip it out.

Quick note, guys... I tried to use foil myself before I cut the metal plates. But, I had issues with the "fingers" inside the back of the motor that hold the resistor in there tearing the foil as I tried to put it back in. So, I just took a hacksaw and cut some plates. I'm glad I did... it just runs parallel with the "as close to a factory job as possible" motto I try to uphold whenever I do stuff to my truck. If I'm gonna mod it, I still want it to work right, look right, whatever... even if I can't see it. Sorry for the ranting... I'll get off my soap box!

Jon, I hope I didn't offend you. I probably should have said that it wasn't necessary for me. I always appreciate one who takes things to the highest possible level.

i got all the locks done. i just used foil if i was at home i would have cut the metal for it but im at my fiances and had time to mess with the locks. now that the locks are fixed im looking at getting keyless entry. my truck did not come from factory with it. i tried turning the ignition from of to acc. 8 times in ten seconds and nothing so im asuming my truck does not have keyless entry unless i cant turn the ignition fast enough.
