Drove from Medford to Bend this morning. Chains were required on Hwy 58. Snowed all the way. Just "Spring time in Oregon" Crater Lake area was pretty. Black ice wasn't ! Bring on the fall!
Anyone have any Coppertone.... Sunny with a slight breeze here in Las Vegas, temps in the upper 80's...hehe. Global warming?? I'm surprised the Tree Huggers aren't over in Iceland yelling at the Volcano. That thing just did more damage to the atmosphere than our trucks can even think of doing.

Agreed, we've never stopped fishing this winter, or any for that matter. Ca. has it's problems but weather normally isn't one of them.
I have posted this before and I believe it. Owning a truck like this (I also have a 12 valve Cummins) and removing all of the feel good, but life reducing environmental parts like, CCV to intake, EGR, Kitty, restrictive exhaust etc. is BETTER for the environment. If my one truck goes 4 or 5 hundred K miles because it is not choked, does that not make a smaller carbon foot print than the manufacturing, shipping, paperwork, disposal, poorer MPG etc. of the 3 replacement trucks? Of course, it might make more snow. (and that does not fit into the Goracal’s plan……….)
