Special Thanks
I would like to throw a special thanks to mercman from Elstow.
Being a typical guy i am, I pushed my fuel gauge, while towing, to the very bottom limit, and ended up in Elstow tonight with not enough fuel to make it back into stoon. See I had things planned out where I could get diesel on the way, but little did I remember that most of these places dont stay open past 8!
Long story short we found some older fella that very nicely called around to try and get us some diesel, and found a young fella that worked for the town to sell us enough to get back to Stoon. At the end of our conversation, we figured out that we "knew" each other (with the mention of Ryans name" through this site.
Anyways thanks again mercman, you had better get your *** on here more often, your a hell of a nice guy to help us out like ya did!

hello once again fello fte-ers! it happened to me that the office here in Elstow was open so i could come on the net today. what a small world out there hey? i find that its better to help out when i can rather than not help at all. im gonna be comming on here as much as i can from now on, the last two years i havent had the net or the time to come online but i havent forgot you guys or anything. i hope soon i will get more pics and maybe some vids of my 74 ford on here well, i will come and chat on here when i can, till then ttyl

Trust me, lesson learned, small town fuel stations close alot earlier then the city!!!

i never leave any where unless i have a full tank of gas! i dunno just paranoid, plus i have the cash so might as well now than later! even if i have 3/4's of a tank and i know i can make it there in only half or less i top it up anyways! never know lol
