99 f250 electrial issue??

just got a 99 f250, ran good for a while now the abs light is on, it doesnt want to upshift right and the speedometer and odometer are not working. it drove like brand new till this happened now I not to sure what to do. my truck cam with no manual so I cant really check relays but all the fuse I pulled and they looked good. where should I start or has anyone else experienced this? I know am am new here but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for bad wiring to abs sensors, clean them, contacts, and if that doesn't work, try new sensors.

There is a speed sensor, usually located in the top of the rearend, that sends a speed signal to the speedo cluster, the abs, the cruise, and the engine computer. If your cruise control does not work also, I would suspect this sensor or it's wiring to the be the problem. You can also pull the sensor out and see if it has any metal filings on it. If it does, you can clean them off and see if it starts working. If it does, and then it gets metal filings on it again, you might have something going wrong in the rearend.

Also there is a Green with Black stripe ground wire attached to the upper core support driver side just in front of your evap canister. If it is loose or not connected it will effect your ABS and Speed. It drove me nuts when I lost my speedometer. I went through 3 sensors and replaced computer module that ABS went into, then found that the ground was off. I don't know how. As soon as I put it back on and moved the truck everything worked.
