Tailgate lift
I hope you guys can help me.
My wife has a 2007 Ford f-250 turbo diesel. ( see photo )
Now she is looking for something that makes it easier to close that heavy tailgate.
Is there something on the market that will work for her?

400 dollars for the power lift .... I hope, I can find something cheaper.
I have seen by some trucks. That you can close the tail gate simply with one hand.

the newer 08+ Ford tailgates have a lift-assist torsion bar in em..
trouble is to find a gate and have it painted isnt any cheaper then 400$ for sure...
theres no way to mod the torsion bar into your older gate either...

I sold my '08 gate to a local body shop. That was two years ago. He's probably already used it, but who knows. It is even dark blue. If you are near central Ky it may pay to give them a shout.
