Door Ajar Light
I have a 2003 Ford F-150 Supercrew. Periodically, the interior lights and the door ajar light will remain on after you are in motion. After a short time, the interior lights will go off and then later, the door ajar light will go out. In the mean time, you can hear the doors locking from time to time. Any ideas?

It is an issue with the door latch. Another poster said to saturate the door latch with WD-40. The open and close the door a few times and it cleans the sensor. Worked like a charm. Have not had the issue since.
