Sorry that didn't go to the right page, but just search through the pages for your truck and you'll see the tank in the fuel section. I'll find you a good rear tank to, hold on a second.
Ok, the biggest tank that fits in the rear (if you want to upgrade) is a 38 gallon tank out of a 1987 f-250 with a 7.5L gasser and its P/N is F26E. Only think you have to do is extend the sending unitfrom your tank, if you want I'll pull up the write up for you for it. If you just want to replace the stocker with a stocker then just get the one for your truck, just figured I'd throw it out there.
I'm doing it right now. Gotta snip two new notches for the sending unit to align it right, extend the return and pickup tubes, and extend the rod on the float.
I thought the diesels with the E4OD had the 20 gallon. I have a brand new 19 gallon front tank. I bought it for my 250, but needed the 16 gallon. You can pm me if you are interested.
I can't, however, find the proper front tank. I keep finding the 16 gallon version. Does anyone know where to find the 20 gallon or whatever they are?
I hate to interrupt this serious discussion and this is not hijacking because it titled 'Money Pit'. Phil, I have to correct you, a Money Pit is paying for a new pickup and getting junk!
