6.0 wont start

Hi all, I have 2005 stock 6.0 PSD thats had regular servicing. Tried to start it today. It would spin over but would not start. Batteries were low tried boosting it with no success. My smoke is black. Any help would be great.

does 6.ol bleed air off

Just checked out the tech folder on the no start issue and decided to try changing my fuel filters. Seems like asimple enough job. One question though does the 6.0l bleed off its air in system.

Truck is getting hauled to dealer as I type. On the he speculated the cause as plugged egr valve

. I guess I' ll find out in a day or two hopefully. When i get a diagnosiss Ill post it.

The 6.0L has a "key-on/engine-off" purge procedure after fuel filter change. It is in your manual and in the tech folder post on filter changing.

Keep us posted on the findings.
