Busy Weekend

Saturday morning started at 4 am with a drive to KY to pick up a different engine for the shop truck. It presently has a 279 Y block Lincoln, the smallest of that engine family and a whopping 145 hp. Just got a 1957 368 Lincoln, the largest of the same family at 300 hp. Should help keep the truck from slowing down for the hills so bad, and all with a bolt-in application..

Got home about 8 pm, unloaded the engine and put it on an engine stand. Sunday, up at 5 am to take the Fairlane we finished last fall to the local Spring Fest car show in downtown Leonardtown. Didn't really clean it up until we got to the show. Out of about 250 entries, we took home People's Choice award.
