on my truck i just used junkyard parts from an 86 F150/bronco. it was really easy and except for modifying the roller i used them as is. here is the thread from the 73-79 forum thread there is a link to pictures. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...threadid=93365 . good luck, hawkrod
I just did this and where Igot mine was told to me here a while back, and they have a kit SPECIFIC for 1967 Only!! and it worked great, it's A1 Electric in Gardena, CA.
Beware of Universal Fit or even 1967-72, for some unknown reason many thins are just different enough to make it a little frustrating. A1 told me they started out thinking it was for 1967 to 72 but found out different so now offer the one for 1967, and another for 68-72. Whatever, it worked great and was about same price as others.
Yeah I know-this stuff costs $$$, but it's my only hobby/vice, I'll probably hate myself when it's in-op in the down position in a driving rain someday. Oh well if you wanta play you gotta pay, or so someone said somewhere sometime someplace.
