I just picked up a 06 f250, had an oil change and a transmission flush done. The next day I noticed that it was leaking transmission fluid, I took it back anf after looking ford told me it was excess/overflow from the flush, they cleaned it and that was that ( unrelated, they did find a fule leak and i needed a gasket) well I noticed that it is still leaking, right where the two parts come together(forgive my lack of technical terms) in the front of the truck, about level with the front tires, drops keep forming. Could it need a gasket or maybe something wasnt tight?
Ok, I was going to do that. Just wanted to get a little info on it first so I knew what I was talking about. when i purchased it 2 weeks ago I thought it had a blown head gasket or erg cooler (according to the techs at work) but as it was still under warranty till oct I got it fixed for free but they had the truck for a week waiting on parts an techs that knew what they were doing. I think once this is fixed Ill look for a different dealership todo warranty work.
I just had the same problem with my 6.0 two days ago I had a tranny flush and yesterday after about 600 miles on the road tranny fluid all over the bottom of the truck. They claim a transaxle gasket gone bad.
I find that very suspiscious since the trans fluid was just filled the day before.
