Hello, I need some advice on a problem, got a 94 F-150 XL 4x4, 300 6 cylinder, 5 speed manual tranny, I pulled away from a stoplight and when i pushed clutch in to go to 3rd gear, the clutch just slammed to the floor and stayed, had to pry shifter into neutral cause pulling the pedal back up and pushing back down wouldnt get it out of gear, I looked under dash and the pushrod had broke where it attaches to the clutch rod lever, I got it back home and replaced the whole clutch master cylinder, bleed the system and all, got in truck, pushing in clutch and it still stayed to floor, looked back under dash at the spring and it was fine and everything else in the system looked fine, went to start it and the truck took off, its still not coming out of gear, if i leave it in gear and start, it takes off, if I put in neutral it wont, does anybody have any ideas what is going on ? could the slave cylinder have locked up and caused to much resistance on pedal and cause the pushrod to break ? I noticed the two days before this happened, the clutch seemed to grab in different positions sometimes, but I didn't think much of it cause it was barely noticeable, any tps would be appreciated
Thank You

The pushrod on this model isnt adjustable, it fixed in length and it fits perfect and the bushing has no play as it is new also, thats what actually broke was helf the round circle that the bushing snaps in, so when I bought the new master cylinder, it came with the push rod, bushing and new rubber washer that goes on the metal pipe that hooks the master cylinder thats on the fluid line
I gravity bled almost a whole small bottle of fluid thru it, then did it with pulling the clutch pedal up and down by hand cause it wont return, never got no more air out after gravity bleeding and the pedal never got any stiffer, it just stays to floor
