LONGEVITY plasma cutter

Back to the forum for a question. Anyone here use a LONGEVITY plasma cutter before? I need a plasma cutter and do not want to spend an arm and a leg. Any feedback on this company and there plasma cutters? This is the machine that will suit my needs as far as specs are concerned:

ForceCut LP-60D Plasma Cutter

As far as I can tell, they offer the best price and warranty on the net, but will it do what I need it to do without any problems? Is the company reputible? I have not dealt with them before, so I was hoping to pull some feedback from someone else on this company. Thanks for the help.

I have never heard of that brand. But that does not mean it's not a good plasma machine. It sounds pretty good. Having the power of other plasma cutters costing over twice as much. The main thing is does it have good product support? Can you buy consumables for it at your local welding supplier or must you wait for them to come in the mail?

Are you aware of the power requirement for that machine? You will probably need at least a 100 amp panel in your garage with at least a 50 amp 220V breaker. I know it says it can run on 110V, but it puts out 40A at 100% duty cycle. Assuming you can plug it into a 20A 110V outlet, you could not run it up very high without tripping the breaker. That may limit you to cutting materials 1/4" or less. If you intend to run it off a generator, you'll need the equivalent of a 300 amp welder/generator for maximum 220V output.

i have the older model branded here in canada as titan/everlast.
my dealer stands behind the product 100%

i have had it 2 years without a single problem

other friends have a few newer models and have had a small problem or 2 but quickly resolved by our local dealer

Great to have some feedback on the plasma cutter and your guys choice on the machine you went with. You know, I went with the longevity plasma cutter cause it has a good warranty, the customer service was awesome and I was able to get alot of info from the longevity forum at www.freeweldingforum.com.
I checked out the harbor freight machine. Good looking machine, but not as powerful as the 60D and I am guessing no product support. I paid the same price for the 60D, got a 5 year warranty and the machine is dual voltage.

Cant beat that, and if you can, let me know for my next welder or plasma cutter purchase...
Ill post some pics of the machines progress when I get a chance.
