Well, We (My dad, Actually) Bought a '76 F-350 Super Camper Special on December 31st 2006. We had no clue what the hell a Super Camper Special was, at that time...
So I went and did some research and found out how Super rare, and cool the Super Camper Specials are.
Well, I originally wanted the name "76f350supercamperspecial" But, That didn't fit, so I choose 76f350spercamprspeal by removin' some letters.
As for the avatar, Mine Changes, and is several things.
The first one is my favorite, which fit's me the best, Which has a duck on it and say's "I'm only Here to Annoy you"
The Second one say's: "CAUTION! I'M SLOW"
The Third Say's: "I tried Sniffing Coke, But, The Ice-cubes got stuck up my nose"
The Last avatar in the loop say's: Are you drunk in blurry letterin'...It's set to change every 10 seconds...
My username is pretty easy to understand: own a 70 Bronco and live in TX. Joined the site before I owned a dentside. Now my username might be 'whydoyouneedallthesetrucks?' because of what my wife regularly says
My avatar is the sports logo of the university I work for. Figure I'll promote it as often as I can. I'm also in charge of enrollment--so send your kids to West Texas A&M University
I got mine because when I raced snowmobiles when I was younger I was always carrying around 5 gallon pails of race gas for my sled...kind of stuck....and my birth year.
Avatar is my 460...work in progress
Contrary to popular belief - my name is not chase...
My username is the same one I've been using since '99 or so on 10 or more forums. Since I am a desert racing fan and those are the forums I frequent most (and frequented before getting into the dentsides and on FTE) my screen name came from that.
A "Chase Truck" is like a mobile pit in desert racing. In big races like the Baja 1000 or Baja 500 the chase truck carries the spare parts and crew out to the broken race truck - where ever it may be. These trucks need to be need to be very strong, and capable trucks as they carry TONS of parts/tools/people and still need to be able to handle some crazy terrain.
The 754 was from my old dream of racing my ranger. Class 7 - truck #54. Desert racing trucks are numbered with the class #1st and then the actual truck number. These numbers often go on the chase trucks as well.
The '74 crew cab I am building will be my chase truck - as well as tow rig and family camping vehicle.
As for the avatar - it is one of the coolest race trucks ever. The duralast F-150! One of the 1st or last real trophy trucks (highest class of race truck) depending on how you look at it.

Reason: spelling
Kalve is the name my dad's side of the family have called me since I was little. An the avatar is a picture my current project an soon to be daily driver 74 F250 Crewcab. This is the first Ford I have owned since 96 almost 14 years ago its been to long without a Ford next on will be a 69 Mustang convertible the car I have been wanting for years.
Well, mine is the remainder of my truck's full name "Buford the Behemoth" (although if I don't lose a couple pounds, it'll be more accurate than it needs to be). When I bought the truck and got it home, I stood back and said "Man, that's one big ugly Ford!" Then it started to hit me...."Wait....Big Ugly FORD.....B U FORD....BUFORD!" The truck told me its name while I was standing there, and it's stuck ever since. Pretty much everybody I know refers to him by name now, as it pretty much fits the bill (which is also somewhat ironic, as Buford isn't too ugly anymore).
As for an avatar....you could look at my lack of one in two ways....I've never got off my lazy butt and posted one....or two, it represents my general thought process most mornings.....vacuous space.
Cyclopsblown34. In 2000 whilst putting brakes on my son's ATV, I slipped and poked my left eye...Cyclops has been my nickname since, now my shop is called Cyclops' Rod Shop. Blown34 is from my old hot rod 34 Chevy with a blown 496 that you couldn't help but drive in anger.
In the wheelie photo, it was on alcohol.
I sold it three years ago when I found out I was going to be a grandpa.
