Good Saturday morning. Saddled up for the day. Had a nice thunderstorm and rain roll through last night.

Rob I think instead of chocolate smelling pickups we should sit down with young men whose head is filled with love and wants to get married or have lots of pickups. Ask him which he'd rather. Explain the advantages and disadvantages of each along with suitable alternatives. So far the STBX hasn't said anything about my 2 pickups in the proceedings.

Howdy everyone, where did the weekend go?

Man, looks like north central SD had some scary stuff move through Saturday night. They had footage of a huge tornado on the Sioux Falls news. Didn't go through any towns, but took out a few farms.

Just another reason to hate this time of year! Oh, and the 90+ with humidity isn't much fun either.



Sounds like a good plan Ryan... sort of like pre-marriage counseling!
Sure hope things work out smoothly for you. Is the end in site, or do you still have a lot of proceedings to work through?

 

I started my weekend off on a sour note on Friday evening.

It was a beautiful night, so I was out cruising on the cycle, emptying my head of a week's worth of stress. But, a Union County SD deputy ruined it for me when he decided to pull me over for 62mph in a 55mph.

Two lane state highway, never much traffic, and normally at 60mph you get blown off the road by people doing 70. Grrrrr.

I think he was just fishing for drunks since there is a popular watering hole a couple miles from where he stopped me. He was nice, just gave me a warning, but it still ruined my night. I always get stopped for stupid stuff, can't get away with nothing!

 

Well at least you didn't get a ticket, that really would have been worse!

Yeah, guess I should look at the bright side. The deputy was real nice about, he said he rides a bike too. When he handed me the warning, he told me to just throw it away when I got home. I wonder if they have a quota on warnings?

 

a warning here in NJ is on file for 30 days, and will be flagged if you get called in again.

 

Sheesh....out causing trouble again I see, Rob. Tch, tch, tch.......

I had a cop try to tell me he pulled me over for 68 in a 65, then proceeded to tell me he was going to give me a seat belt ticket instead, I said give me the 3 over cause I'll bring 20 witnesses that will swear I never drive without a seat belt, including my three daughters. He gave me my stuff back, and said have a nice day, sped off to pull over the next car up the highway!

 

Was traveling back when the weather was rolling through. The 80s Saturday night programming was interrupted just about every good song.

The proceedings are underway. She was served the summons and complaint on Friday.

It is shaping up to be muggy and humid today. Good chance of storms.
