35 in the spare spot? No way for me

Cant say I didn't try, while it technically does fit. It pretty much rubs in about three places. This is a worn down 35 as well .





For now I guess Ill run a chain or something through it and secure in the bed.

Anyone have a recommendation for a bed mounting bracket?

Here's a few links, the first one is listed as Government Motors but most of them are universal. The last link has a bunch of pages of mounts, I looked at the first few pages and there were a few different bed mounts in there. Hope this helps.

Mine 35 inch spare fits, but I am also running stacks and dont have to deal with the exhaust pipe. I just bent the little tab out kinda like you did. Sorry it didnt work for you.

No problem Walt. There are a few that look pretty nice, but some are awfully pricey!
