Im pretty excited guys, I sent the 17* pump I picked up a couple weeks ago out to Joey today to get modified. I'm really looking forward to having some better oil than my worn out 15* pump.

Any one know how the modded 17's compare to the adrenaline?
I know the regular 17's aren't as good as the Adrenaline. Not sure about the modded ones though. The adrenaline pump can handle most upgraded injectors at least up to stage II or even III I think.
Everyone I've talked to with the Adrenaline pump loves it. I'm kinda torn when I do mine whether to buy a 17* pump and have T.E. swap the 17* parts into my 15* housing.... or just pay the $500 for a Adrenaline. Might end up costing the same when it's all said and done.
From what I have read the adrenaline still flows more than the modded pump by a good bit. The modded pump is supposed to run up to like II's pretty well. I'm only planning on a set of stage I's so it should be plenty for me.
will my stock fuel hold up to stage twos? i dont really want to mess with that, i might do some new valve springs wen I put in the injectors but that and an i/c is probly all I will do this summer
Ya, I've been waiting for about a month and a half but its cheaper than an adrenaline. And I'm not going to be the one to spill the beans on the price but it is an awsome deal and Joey is the chit to talk to. But I'm going to assume that it is going to flow the same, IIRC the 17* pump is the same internally as the 15* pump but the swash plates are different, someone correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I think I've read.
A regular 17* pump will hold Stage I's well from what I heard.
I've heard of the stock mechanical fuel system being good to 500hp. Electric fuel is just a little more consistent as far as pressures go, plus you can delete the fuel bowl and free up all that space in the valley.
only a few more questions, what gaskets, o-rings etc will I need to install it? I have the actual pump and the ipr, I am using the old lines, Im not sure what all is required to install it. Im pretty sure I need a gasket between the pump and the motor what else guys? Thanks in advance, and Joey ROCKS!
This is the parts i got. IPR orings, HPOP orings, and gasket. Joey's got a 17* for me right now to so I'll have one to get rid of that I just installed that works good (stock 17*). Also its a great time to replace the blue rubber fuel lines off of the fuel bowl too. Ed the parts guy has them too if you go through him for anything.
I replaced the lines a few years ago when I had my fuel bowl corrode through on me and had to switch it out. (THANK YOU Cody for bailing me out on that btw bigtime)
Thank you for the link fordman. Looks like I will need the hpop gasket and some rtv and ipr O-rings. If Joey put fittings in the pump before he sent it back do I need hpop fitting O-rings? Any thing I'm missing guys?
