EOT vs. ECT
Hey guys,
Got the Dash Daq temporaily wired up in the truck and I just read a post on another thread that says the new spec. from Ford is 10* difference.
Can anyone verify that for me. I just had the EGR and Oil coolers replaced under waranty and sometimes when first starting in the morning I see about 11-12* difference, not for long, but it does happen.
Normally driving in traffic with no A/C (yet,it snowed here last night) I see between 4-6* difference.

The only one that I have seen sarge is 15 deg, and that is at opperating temps. the oil temp will lag behind untill your at full opperating temps. Then it should climb to just higher than the ECT.

Yeah thats what I thought but I dont have that flash anyway. The EOT is always about 4* on average more than the ECT. The truck is out of warranty November 2010 so I may make it disappear.
If I was smart enough to link the thread I would do it.
