im going to try the timing thing this summer when i change the plugs wires cap rotor and a new coil cause the coil on it now is original 22 years ago lol

Wow, no wonder your mileage sucks! A lot more that 60K on your o2 also? You know, if you did what I did when I first got my truck, The upgrades would pay for themselves & your truck would be a lot more fun to drive! It would be like getting a 25-50% discount every time you fill up! That adds up quick! You almost can't afford not to, if you think about it. Not to mention better performance & more reliability. Doesn't laying 6ft. of rubber from a dead stop on dry pavement sound like fun? And your still relatively stock. No unnecessary Cam mods that don't get along w/ the ECU.
