trannys out

well finally got my tranny out today. got less than 2 weeks till the next mudbog so i hope my tranny guy can get it done by this weekend. got no tranny jack so putting it back in may get interesting.

Well just try not to do it alone.

I havn't seen any posts by you. Whats the specs on your truck?

by any chance is that the Moyie mud bogs??

80 bronco, built 400, c6, 208, d60 rear welded, complete 83 3/4 ton front end ifs, i kno i kno but i wanted to go to 8 lug and leafs and i had it and i was bored so i swapped it out till i can find a 60. 38.8 wore out ground hawgs, not sure on lift, around 10". ramsey 8k winch w custom bumper thats not done.
guess thats the basics.

Well since your not doing anything, go find a tranny jack to borrow.
Its a lot easier then trying to install a tranny alone with a floor jack.

put it back in sunday and have most of my major stuff done. gov is sticken but he told me it would prob do that for a while till everything got flushed out good and just to shift it manually till it clears up. just have some odds and ends to take care of before the mud bog sat. front tires are pretty shot and it drives HORRIBLE down the road. gotta get hyd assist but i cant find a 1 1/2" bore 8" stroke cylender anywhere affordable.
