Hello I was wondering if anyone in the bay area has auto enginuity and might be willing to help me. I am having a problem with high EGT's. I have mods in sig and have talked to Jody at DP tuner. He would like me to check my HPOP but I don't have a way to do it. If anyone can help I would even be willing to pay. Truck runs great but EGT's hit 1200 + with or without load very quickly. I just installed a ww surge is gone but temps are still high. Not sure what else to look at. My trailer is only 4700 lbs dry maybe 5500 loaded This load should not be a problem for this truck. Any sugestions? Please help.

What kind of boost are you getting at WOT? How much does it smoke at WOT?

 

I hit 26 psi boost with not that much smoke seems like less smoke after WW.

 

That's not bad boost for your mods. I was thinking of a boost leak for the higher EGTs. I guess Jody will help you out.

 

Yup, I have AE. Well, I mean I purchased one, but I loaned it to Pete so I haven't even gotten to play with it yet!

Pete does do a lot of motoring around up near you. Maybe you can hook up with him sometime.
