2001 2wd screw

K here's the deal. Back in Jan. my buddy rolled my 99 F-150 Supercab. He put the claim through on his insurance and they are buying me a new truck. Here's my dilema, after test driving about 15 trucks ranging from 99-02 all between $6000-$7000 in the past week not a single one was worth a s@#t. Between cracked windshields, scratched to hell paint and thrashed interior I was beginning to give up when I found a 2001 Toreador red 2WD 4.6 Supercrew with right about 100k on the odo for $6800. Looking at it tomorrow. Is this a good price for this truck? Too high? I know the other trucks I looked at were grossly overpriced for their quality. Last time I looked at these trucks was about 7 years ago when I bought my 99 So i'm not sure what's a good price for these

sounds pretty good for a truck with only 100k on it. You dont need the 5.4 or 4 x 4 ???

Looked at the truck today. The truck next to it had 103000 miles on it this one had 136,000 on it. Paint has some good blemishes on the hood. motor ran great but trans had a leak at the tail. Interior needs a whole new center console cupholder piece, cupholder in dash doesn't pop any more. Don't really need the 5.4, have the excursion to tow and the ex is 4x4

If it has leaks and other defects then I would say it's in fair condition.
The price is high for over here on the east cost!
If you want it you should try to get them down 1000 bucks or so.
