help with 400 vs 460 flywheel
I am removing a 351M from 78' F-150 4x4 with 4 speed... and installing a 75' 460 in its place will the flywheel from the 351M work?...

460's before 79 is what you need are internal balance..After 79 460's had external balance and had the hatchet spaced behind the harmonic balancer and the flexplate with a weight attached ,though the weight is different to a cleveland....
So any 460 flywheel from 68-78 should get you out of trouble..or one from a 429 as these were all internal balance as well.
