Is anyone else running ARB lockers? I have them front and rear on my 78 F-250. They are about 8 years old and I think the blue air lines are starting to get fragile. I see a stress crack in one section going to my front axle and its not leaking yet but it is the beging of wheelin' season and i would rather take care of it now then after it blows. I was thinking about removing the blue lines and running a hard line like some brake line or something that is a little more durable. Has anyone done anything like this? Or should I just replace the blue plastic hose every 10 years? Also just curious what other people think of the ARB's? I am thinking about getting rid of them and going back to conventional lockers.

I don't have ARB's currently, but know lots of people that do.
Those blue air lines will get brittle over time (depending on your weather conditions), just replace it with conventional air line - any shop that sells pneumatics will sell it, can pick it up really cheaply, and its an easy job.
I live in ice country and arb is way better than a conventional posi on ice. I see your picture in snow so I'm guessing ice is part of your world. We got about 8" of snow today/last night in northern wyoming. Not sure of your situation but selectable lockers are nice compared to not having a option at all. Hose is a quick fix and easy to repair. Catch you later, lost in wyoming and lovin it! I run a powr lok rear but have to replace clutches every couple of yrs due to wear. they work OK but if you lift a tire the power goes to the tire in the air if clutches are worn. Selctable locker will win in this situation if tire is in the air.
