In a high HP tune, expect the duty cycle to be at least 65%, and pressures lower at 2200 psi or so with a fairly healthy HPOP at WOT. Stock HPOP's just can't keep up with oil hungry split shots when running a higher HP tune.
Hey Curtis I did some test today with my snap-on modis and I was getting in 120 and 140 dptune around 2400plus PSI is that normal? Would trying a moded pump from Joey help those higher tunes. I had to have my wife watch the numbers while I drive. I didnt look how fast i was going just got it into high gear and floored it. Is the 50 to 90mph the correct way to do it? What else should I be looking at? Still trying to get farmiliar with the modis.
Thanks

2400 seems good in the 120 tune.whats the duty cycle???.my moded is holding 2600-2700 at 50% DC in my 140 but on single shots..i have the AD from Bob waiting to go in..not sure what gains ill see..you asked over on the other site about the T-1..is it out yet?? last i new it was still in testing but he was getting parts to build the first 50 pumps..talking to joey he said it will out flow the AD..

Hey Ron what tme is it dont you go to sleep? Okay 2400 is okay for stock pump? So if I go with a moded pump I expect a little more. Joey recommended I go with the T1. He said it will be out in about 2 wks. So is the AD's good to stay with and go with a bigger pump? What do you mean, Joey said it will out flow the AD, is that good or bad?

Thanks

im a truck driver on vaca all though im recovering from surgery..im up at 2-3 am getting ready for work..even though im not working.i just cant seem to sleep in...my girlfriend hates that..lol
out flow is a good thing..you want more oil...2 weeks would be about right when i talked to joey last..has he got any data yet??.his moded pump is 50 bucks if you send him your pump..it should help with your splits..if what he said about the t-1 is true..it may be worth the wait...he got a price yet??
as far as your AD's not sure what HP your looking for but the pump will give you some gains on the top end but she will pull harder down low getting to the top..after the pump you may want to start thinking about a turbo. or moding your turbo with a WW and a 1.0 housing..

Ok did a run on the way to work 120hp tune. Keep in mind if I get caught doing this speed its loss of license on the spot and a free ride to gaol.
90mph RPM 2668 - ICP DC% 41.4 - ICP PSI 2336.69 - Pulse width 4.15

If you send me the data logs, I can graph it for you. A log of just your acceleration run starting at 50ish and going up from there will do. I can chop the rest off. PM me if you want to and I'll send you my email addy...
