Electrical nightmare
1999 F250 S/D Extended Cab 4X4 67K Miles original owner
Raining here in New York and I did have my windshield replaced a number of years ago. Air bag light on steady without flashing, ABS and Check Engine lights on also, transmission shifting hard and all over the place. I read a few posts with similar problems and pulled the fuse box out. Saw some small water droplets down towards the bottom of the "brown" connector side, also the "brown" plug was very hard to pull out where as the "white" plug/connector came out very eaisly. No smoking guns visible as far as heavy oxidation or rust but I did see evidence of water above the fuse box assembly which must be making it down along the wire harness and into the box. I am going to dry the box and connectors and hit them with some electric cleaner and reassemble, hopefully that will solve the problem and of course get the windshield re sealed. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
