Just a quick question about the np203 that came in the 1972 - 1979 f150 trucks. Were these cases divorced ? If so does anyone know what the input from the motor looks like on the transfer case ? I am planning to build a np205-np203 combo for my highboy and am looking at np203's... lots of mated versions out there would like it to be divorced
I dont believe these were all that rare. Ive got several.
These remote mount cases (both 203 and 205's) were only found in f-250's. F-150 and 100's would have had a direct mount or married configuration.
Regardless, yokes looked the same. Odd, sized yokes are usually a double cardan type yoke, but this is typically for the output.
Input yokes are quite standard, and fairly easy to find.
