Any of u guys electrical gurus?
I'm installing two more of the stock fog lights in between the two in the factory location. ? is how many amps would these babys use. I'm wanting to use the upfitter switches in my 05 f250. Thanks for any info in advance

 

Amps = Watts / Volts

So if they are 55w bulbs, you would have 55w / 12v = 4.6a * 2 = 9.2 amps per pair

 

The OEM halogen bulb should be rated for 45 watts (3.75A) each .

I thought the Fogs were H3 55w bulbs?

 

They are 42watt bulbs.

 

please if someone knows where the other end of the upfitter harness is located and color code. I have 4 fogs i am putting on and i dont want to go ahunting 2010 f150 raptor 6.2 The light are pias with the yellow/blue bulb

 

Ah, the bulb is a 9145. I got them confused with the bulbs in my old truck's fog lights. Should be a 45 watt. Not heard of a 42 watt?

I found the info in the tech folder under upfitter wireing location.
The sylvainia bulb saie 12v42 watt on it....
