Ur right, that isn't too bad of a price for a winch, but are you sure that's where you want to spend your money? (not the location but the modification) I got around for years fine offroading without a winch, and I probably wouldn't have put one on my current Jeep, because I don't believe that I have used it enough to warrant the extra expense. In fact, only used it once since Oct, and I didn't even need it then, I didn't have to go up that hill, I just did it because everyone else did.
Well I say we meet at the Drive inn around 7:30-8:00? I don't know what time the box office opens. And I guess since it is us we'll be seeing #2 --- (gotta love a poop joke)
I know Curt and Julie are going. Thomas said he would be in town-- Anyone else?
Haven't been on for a couple days, sorry for the late reply.
Hope to make it down with Jamie, sounds like a blast. Do you have time to help me clean up my rock sliders Chad? No biggie if ya can't, but it would save me a lot of time trying to do it with my crappy supplies/tools lol
Justin I won't have time Sat-- but if you drop them off I can get them done some night this week and have them ready by next weekend -- will that work?
Looks like Carolyn isn't going to make it to the movies-- Cali is a little tired and cranky because she is cutting "Fangs" and that won't be good for anybody.
How many shagin wagin's we have at this? Curtman & Julie, Justin & Jamie,........... Chad said Carolyn was stayin at home. Margaret has plans. Anyone else?
Wow! I had a blast! I had never been to a drive in theater, that was cool!!
I wish I had brought the Jeep down for it, to lay down the front window, and have the sub, and overhead speakers, but leaving it sit at the motel, I would have been awake all night worrying that it was being messed with. Darn zippers... and soft tops.
Back in the 60's when I was a kid we went a lot. But the teck was way different then and you could see the screen the same as at inside movies. Today the dark movies are really great for the inside theaters but are not good for outside. Could be my older eyes don't see as well either. But much of the rest is still the same as it was then. They talked about new digital projectors. Be really cool if those returned the drive in to the same quallity as the indoors again. Course back in highschool when we got our first wheels it was off to the drive in with the gang and a cooler of colorado coolaide.
Had a $2 pickle(chilly dilly), yum yum and pop corn. Camped out in the back of Clints truck and watched some pretty good movies. Curtis rolled the windows down on his truck and we had great sound(through fm on his radio).
Who snuck in to it in the trunk? That was we did in college, but back then it was so much a head to get in. We also drank a lot of the same type of koolaid as Jack.
Great time with good friends-- Dragon was great pretty funny!! Clash of the titans wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be... and between all the junk food, popcorn, steak feed, and Two bros BBQ my stomache was acting up.
