oil leak

so i took the advice and cleaned the valley, turns out that no oil has built up in the valley since then, but i am still leaking a small drip every night, collection at near the starter/ trans bell housing

If the back of the valley under the turbo is staying dry, then I'd check where the dipstick goes into the side of the oil pan.

if it is the turbo leaking, is it a hard fix?

Its not hard or expensive. Since it is your first time you should allow 3 hours +that is if you can get the up pipe clamp off OK make sure and spray it with PB Blast the day before a couple times. Clay has the o-ring kits if your doing the turbo go ahead and change the pedestal orings while your there its just 4 more bolts. Check your EBPV on the turbo also. Here is a pic of one leaking.
