Electric Fan Question
Hey the clutch fan on my F250 351 is frozen shut now. I went to the junkyard to get a electric fan and i found one. My question is Would it hurt for me to wire it up so that it turns on when you turn the key on I plan on using a relay for it and some good sized wire. Or do i need to get a fan controler.

i have a fan controller on mine
it isnt going to hurt anything if its always running unless u sit with the key on listening to the radio when ur tryin to work ur mojo lol
u cant cool the engine too much because the thermostat will close and keep it at the operating temp.

Installing an override switch in the cab is a good idea but you're gonna want some automatic(temperature sensitive) control because it's all too easy to forget to turn it on and overheat the motor.
