I own a 96 F150 302 5spd. The truck has seen its share of abuse. Its been rolled and t-boned (by the previous owner), and I have driven my demolition derby lincoln into the pass. side front wheel, driven into a brick wall (with remote start) and struck a deer, not to mention all the regular abuse and weekend abuse, I am a farm boy, and the local street race champion.
My questions are the truck one day just started driving all hay- wire. The local mechanic placed it on the alignment rack and said it was better than stock specs. After changing tires, ball joints, shocks, rims, steering box and pump and checking all I can think of, nothing helps. The actual problem is hard to describe, its almost like the truck has to much traction, all it does is OVER-CORRECT!! With a set of 245/75/16lt tires it isn't as bad but I won't even let anyone else drive it for fear of them getting hurt or worse. Please help if you can.
